KUWAIT CITY, 23 September 2013 (IRIN) – Two years ago IRIN published a detailed analysis of the deep mistrust that existed between aid agencies from the Arab/Muslim world and the UN-coordinated aid system dominated by Western countries.
Last week, at the close of an annual conference in Kuwait bringing both sides together, participants said much progress had been made.
