We are shocked at the sudden and sad demise of Mr. Khu Hteh Bu Phe, Chairman of the Karenni National Progressive Party (KNPP) and Prime Minister of Karenni government on 27th January 2011.
Late Mr. Khu Hteh Bu Phe was a great leader who had led the KNPP through difficult and challenging times for the Karenni people. He is a well known and widely respected personality for his enormous contributions for the greater unity between the ethnic nationalities and democracy movement in Burma.
Undoubtedly the passing of Mr. Khu The Bu Peh leaves a void in our lives, but his memory will always remain deep within the heart of every one who knew him.
