Dear Esteemed Readers, ARNO Members, Friends, and the General Public,

As we stand at the threshold of a new year, it is with great joy and optimism that we extend our warmest wishes to the resilient Rohingya people, our dedicated ARNO members and friends, and the broader community. May the year 2024 bring you happiness, prosperity, and the fulfillment of your aspirations.

In a world often marked by challenges, we join hands in prayer for a more peaceful and harmonious global community. May the coming year be a beacon of hope, fostering understanding and unity among nations, transcending borders and barriers.

We are delighted to announce the relaunch of the ARNO mouthpiece – “Arakan Magazine.” Representing the insightful voice of the Arakan Rohingya National Organisation, our magazine is a platform where stories are told, issues are explored, and voices are amplified. After a brief hiatus, we are thrilled to resume this journey with you, starting in January 2024.

In the upcoming issue, we delve into the reasons behind the courageous journeys undertaken by the Rohingya people, shedding light on the challenges they face and the resilience that propels them forward. Additionally, we showcase the diverse activities of ARNO, highlighting the significant strides made in our relentless pursuit of justice and advocacy.

As we embark on this revitalized chapter of “Arakan,” we invite you to engage with the rich content presented within these pages. Your support is invaluable as we strive to amplify the voices of the Rohingya community and advocate for justice and equity.

May the pages of “Arakan Magazine” serve as a medium for education, inspiration, and empowerment. Together, let us contribute to building a world where every voice is heard, and every story matters.

Wishing you a year filled with hope, compassion, and positive change.

Sincerely,

Nurul Islam
Chairman,
Arakan Rohingya National Organisation (ARNO)
